No matter the subject – the search for the perfect teacher is another story. Some are highly professional, but hard to crack in their shell. Others could become your best buddies, but don’t have enough drive to really take you to the next level of skill.
Orlando is different.
He is considered the busiest drummer in Switzerland for live and studio recordings. Is an arranger, composer, teacher. And beyond that, a guy you could steal horses with. (Although there’s hardly time for that with his busy schedule, sorry).

«Mans Journey» A Trip Across The Universe – OFFICIAL MUSIC VIDEO

“Mans Journey” is Orlando Ribar’s first composition for large orchestra in the style of film music.
For the drum part, Orlando also engaged the two drummers Massimo Buonanno and Andy Leumann. The recordings for this drum part were made in December 2020 in the Power Play Studio in Maur (CH). Through the unique triple instrumentation of the drum part, Orlando Ribar succeeded in integrating the power and expression of the drums into this work. This creates the impression of size and power, as it is achieved for example by a Japanese Kodo drum group.
Story of the song and video animation
The story is about a boy who has had the dream of his own space shuttle for months. With this space shuttle he wants to fly in the universe and explore it. He builds the flying object himself and can actually take off and fly into the universe. In the process, he has to avoid a hail of meteorites, experiences a crash and lands on a planet. Will he be able to get away again and return to Earth…?
